Operation Birthday Cake
Posted to All Pastries, Celebration Cakes on Sunday, June 15th, 2008.Last Wednesday, my brother, Serge, graduated from his Cardiology fellowship. I counted this as the 6th graduation I’ve been alive for (my mother counted 7 including Kindergarden
) Anyhoo, on Saturday we celebrated at a great party…
Of course I had to make a cake to commemorate the occasion - so we replicated the board game Operation, but changed up the playing pieces to touch upon events since Medical School. The icing on the cake was the LED red light up nose! Congratulations Serge!!!

Love the cake and that game was one of my favorites growing up! Congrats to your brother! What a giving and rewarding profession he has chosen.
